OUR STORY
Owner and Co-Founder Captain Gary “Diesel” Stanford began fishing Lake Buchanan at age nine. At age 35, working as a construction executive, with a wife and two year old son, Gary was diagnosed with cancer. After being treated and blessed with a quick recovery, his young family decided to embark on an adventurous lifestyle affiliated with hunting, fishing, and the great outdoors. Gary began applying the same dedication and attention to detail that makes him a successful construction executive to catch fish on Lake Buchanan.

CHARITY
What started out as a family activity is now an opportunity to give back to the fishing community. A portion of our proceeds are donated to Lake Buchanan Conservation Corporation (LBCC). LBCC is a 501c3 organization formed in 2006 to ensure a healthy fishery is maintained. This organization is responsible for stocking up to 1 million hybrid striped bass each year. Through partnership with Texas Parks and Wildlife, Lake Buchanan is one of the top Striper / Hybrid lakes in the state of Texas. From youth scholarships to creating fish habitats, this organization is worth supporting.
